Those who are fans of Leonard Cohen should definitely see this feature. The black and white and often grainy imagery of Leonard Cohen interviews, interspersed with performances of his songs by other artists are terrific, – if somewhat sentimental. While watching the film, one can not stop feeling that you are priviledged to be a witness to a professionals tribute to a unique poetic and musical giant. There are some musical performances that leave you longing for the original, but some are outstanding in their own and new approach including the ones by Rufus Wainwirght and Bono. Cohen’s reading of his poetry and prose are simply outstanding. (*****)
